ABOUT VIRGINIE

Hello, my name is Virginie, welcome to my blog! I am married to Ramiro and together we make movies. We live far from Hollywood in a mountain village with the word "snow" in it and our first language is French.

Together, we own a small art house production company called Genre d'Abattoir. After writing and producing 2 short films (Radical, Rifle, Icon and Raymond May Have Rabies) and moving from Montreal to Quebec city, we wrote and produced (... and directed, shot and edited!) our first indie feature film, CLYDECYNIC, a dark character film about a sinister young master of hypnosis. We had the honour of holding our world premiere in South Korea at the esteemed Busan International Film Festival as part of the Flash Forward Official Selection. You can see my posts from our amazing trip and time at the Korean festival here.

We both also work in video games, having recently wrapped Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I previously also worked on the children's franchise Skylanders.

A few years ago  I started this blog to document all the steps that lead to accomplishing our crazy dreams.
